The Aurora Township Democrats and the Kane County Democratic Women are sponsoring a petition sign and drive event on Saturday, February 12. It provides the perfect opportunity to provide support for candidates who work hard for our community and for all working families. They need our signatures to get on the November ballot. At the same time, there is an opportunity to help the Aurora Interfaith Food Pantry’s Women’s Empowerment Mobile Pop-up collect much-needed and rarely donated items for women and children. Rebecca Dunnigan, the Community Outreach and Program Director, requested donations for feminine hygiene products and children’s diapers (4, 5, 6, and pull-ups).
